Feria
de Jesús del Gran Poder
(aka, the Feria de Quito) -- the second major feria of the American temporada (following shortly after Lima's), one of the most important taurine weeks of the year. Starting in '97, live radio transmission from each corrida will be broadcast from Quito -- you can listen from your PC with "RealAudio." The webmaster (who's ahijado is an ecuatoriano/estadounidense) HIGHLY recommends the feria for anyone with a week's holiday time. Just build in a few days in advance of the feria to recover from the soroche before the bullfights start!.
Feria del Señor de los Milagros Annual celebration in Lima, Perú -- with a series of bullfights in Plaza de Acho. Dates vary, but begins the final week of October, and runs through the end of November.
Feria '97 Loads of information including lists of matadors and ganaderias contracted, ticket prices and purchase locations, dates, news, etc.
Bullfights
in Cancun -- well, not exactly. Want to know how much reliance you
can place on interent search engines (sure you'd have a hard time surfing
without them, but ...)? If you search with "Lycos"
using the term "bullfight," the second result returned is this
site (with a 99% "relevancy" rating) -- but, it's nothing but
a VERY conventional bullfight poster and the words "Olé - Bullfights
and Mexican Tradition." That's it ... no more. A little disappointing
from a site intended to 'promote' Mexico "and it's many riches."
That's why we're trying to annotate Mundo Taurino's links for
you.

Custom Tours This agency (in Caceres, we think) says they can create an individualized
taurine adventure for you. Just tell them what you'd like to do -- from
getting drunk in Pamplona to organizing your own bullfight (!) -- and,
they'll take care of it. Anyone care to put them to the test, and then
get back to Mundo Taurino with the results?
